This rule also applies for supports, except they alter the outcome of the support's allies instead of themselves. This includes aspects such as effective damage or nullification, guaranteed follow-up or nullification, and many other aspects. This meant that skills that alter the outcome of combat are naturally valued more. Combat Considerationsįor combat units, the team would evaluate based on the common threats of the counterparties (enemy-phase units for nukes on defense and vice versa, Save tanks against ranged nukes on offense, etc). Supports will also be tiered relative to other supports, etc etc. Without the icon, the units are tiered based on their offensive capabilities. The placement of each unit will be based on their best possible role. Heroes whose tier is determined by their role on defense rather than offense are denoted with an icon that corresponds to their matching mythic season (units with no mythic season preference on defense will have a mixed season symbol). Naturally, the team will try to avoid evaluating a fish based on their abilities to climb trees. The primary factors considered when tiering heroes are as follows: Role ConsiderationsĪ unit can contribute in combat in many different ways, and in many different strategies. Please keep this in mind when considering placements in this tier list, as every unit can be completely viable in all modes of play. Note: Fire Emblem Heroes provides a significant number of ways to vastly improve units via Skill Inheritance, Ally/Summoner Support, Sacred Seals, Dragonflowers, ally buff support, and so on. Some subjectivity is unavoidable when it comes to tier lists, so we encourage users to seek other perspectives and opinions on unit viability alongside the information in our tier list. These bonuses are also available in other maps outside the Arena. In order to receive these bonuses, a Legendary Hero of the same Blessing must be included in their team.
